I had NO IDEA what category to put this in. Seriously.

This is an assignment we had in Illustration today that I'm rather fond of. We are currently making an iconic image of a person of our choosing in the theme of Barrack Obama's election posters. I chose Gordon Freeman.

Todays media? Sugar, hot chocolate powder, and instant coffee, all nicely ground up between sheets of paper :P Seriously, our class smelt like a coffee shop. It was glorious!

Took a couple of attempts to get the patterns this clear. It consists of three stencils and some inventive ways of scattering the media in a controlled manner.

:icongrim-lw: suggested I call this "Gordon Freeman tastes like chocochino" but it wouldn't fit. So instead I'll credit her with her photography prowess :P She took the pic, as she helped my document my process through the class.

Actually, it didn't! It took some time to make the stencils. And alot of Photoshopping.

I also had to grind all the ingredients before hand.

Otehrwise, I took a couple of attempts making this class!
